Overview

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for delivering the forecast quality, on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery, and inventory metrics.  This person will be a point of contact for all Supply Chain activities relating to specific product categories, and will work cross-functionally and cross-geographically to assure delivery of the right product to the right place at the right time.

 

We have two Supply Chain Planner roles available; these roles will report into our Supply Chain Planning Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Forecast Quality targets for related categories, providing an accurate rolling 12 month forecast
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to assure all customers’ priorities and promotions are met
  • Manage inventory levels and supply flow of products, working closely with production planning team in Italy to assure production schedules match customer requirements
  • Manage phase-in/phase-out and new product launches for related categories, minimizing slow-moving and non-performing inventory.
  • Assure all components necessary to support any value-added service activities are received on time and with enough lead-time
  • Prepare and publish monthly planning and KPI reports measuring forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, usage, and future requirements
  • Work with all De’Longhi distribution locations in North America to assure proper processes, procedures, and resources are in place
  • Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or similar role
  • BS/BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Experience with SAP/APO and/or IBP preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Analytical, problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail a must
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
  • Exceptional time management and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed
