Overview

We are currently searching for a dynamic Logistics Manager with a passion for Continuous Improvement. The Logistics Manager will support the evolution of the Supply Chain strategy for North America through the design, development, and implementation of new distribution network strategies, tactics, and continuous improvement projects aimed at maximizing service levels while minimizing costs.  This position will be the right-hand person for the Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations for North America and will provide support to functional areas within the Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously review, identify issues with, and improve the logistics network for North America
  • Manage 3, 6, and 12 month operating plans with both internal and 3rd party distribution facilities and responsible De’Longhi site leads
  • Ownership of the customer service level KPI, ensuring customer service level targets are being met across the entire network
  • Ad hoc Supply Chain projects and initiatives

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field and/or equivalent work-related experience
  • 5+ years prior supply chain experience with knowledge of end-to-end supply chain
  • Full understanding of order-to-cash process, especially in North America retail and direct-to-consumer environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to analyze and simplify complex datasets for better decision making
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with sharp focus on detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Strong interpersonal & relationship-building skills, experience in dealing with diverse internal stakeholders
  • Experienced with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access a plus
  • SAP or major ERP / MRP system knowledge
